Ῥέα [r̥é.aː] or ῥεία [r̥ěː.aː]) is a mother goddess in ancient greek religion and mythology, the titan daughter of the earth goddess gaia and the sky god uranus, the first son of gaia. The common rhea (rhea americana) is found in open country from northeastern brazil southward to argentina, while darwin’s rhea. As a daughter of uranus (heaven) and gaea (earth), rhea was a titan.
