Some have a clever design where one switch covers both wall contact and front bell box. Now, who normally does meter tamper and debt work I'm building a small path this weekend

Been reading up on how to build and most tutorials suggest a tamper tool to compact the sand layer.
About 6 months ago, it started going off of it's own accord (even when not set), the noise was not the full sonic alarm but more of a tamper panel noise
At first i thought it was the battery so i replaced this which seemed to solve the problem but only for a short while It did go off a couple of times after but then settled down. I had to relocate the external bell box for some work to be done on the house, and when i moved it back, the alarm now shows lt and won't set. Hi chums, the house i recently moved into had a tatty looking reed hide for my three wheelie bins that sat in the front garden so i have just bought a small wooden storage hut for them to stay in (i checked that the neighbours didn't mind first).
Usually if the keypad doesn't work , it indicates that the alarm system is in tamper mode, you would most likely need an engineer to find and remedy the problem One way of getting the keypad to work is to remove the fuse near the main alarm panel inside the house , and then disconnect the battery. Hi, i have an optima xm house alarm, and due to some building work, my builder has had to remove my bell box for a while. Obviously just removing is not an option as they have tamper alarms, but just wondering if anyone knows if this is something we can do ourselves or if we'd have to get the experts in (costing ££££).
