Just got a call from the wells fargo cs number (800 956 4442) they told me someone tried to open an account in my name and deposit a check from boa, they also informed me that someone tired to use zelle and send two different amounts over 1k.
Hi all, my husband and i sold a house and decided to take advantage of a promotion wells fargo was having for a 4.62% rate for 12 months for a minimum of 10k new money to wells We opened the account on nov 15 and i recently checked the interest payments and saw that our rate is at the standard 1% based on our amount. Fyi, we got a letter in january and i called my local wells fargo branch to check it out They were able to confirm that the phone number on the letter was a real wf number
I couldn't get the people that answered the number to volunteer a lot of info They did not ask me for any identifying information other than a number printed on the letter they sent us I knew they'd fucked a lot of.
