Doing same thing with excel 2007/2010/2013 working fine Problem is not on my pc as i tested it on 6 different pc with excel 2016, and even asked 2 friends with excel 2016 to try and their excel crashed and closed same as mine. The scenario was that i was using the refresh selected connection in the data refresh option to try and refresh the excel web access web part data However, in excel viewer, i was using the refresh all connections since the refresh selected connection was disabled (since it should only be for selected pivottable / pivotchart).
