I did it all but now i'm wondering how i can get it back onto my 3ds because the emulator saved it as a.sav file but my 3ds only runs it as a.dat file archived post

I'm interested in doing some data mining and messing around with.sav files for games, but i'm not quite sure where to begin I can convert the.sav binary file to hex, but i'm not quite sure how to go from there.
